NEW HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!

We made an offer on a house today and it was accepted!!! We are so excited! All of you who read this please PRAY for us that our house sells FAST! We need it to sell and close by May 31. We talked directly with the seller who was also the realtor and worked out a deal right there and then had him write it up and we signed papers. We are representing ourselves as the buyers so we saved several thousand dollars in commission. It's very exciting. Here's a few pictures. Honestly the pictures don't do it justice. We've seen the house online for a while but passed by it because the pictures really aren't that great and we thought the description was strange. But when we saw it, we knew it was PERFECT. We want to paint the ceiling beams white like the color of the ceiling, but will do it later. It's move in ready! The people who have it are a young couple. They bought it from an estate sale and his dad renovated it. His dad is a contractor. So they renovated it and it's immaculate. They just got married in August and this was to be their home. Then some personal things came up and they need to live in another area of the Twin Cities so have to sell it without ever having lived in it. It's a wonderful house that seems to go on and on. It's several levels but most of the living will be on the main floor and the upper level that is only about 4 steps up from the main level. Anyway, here's some pictures:

Outside of the house. It's on a corner. There is new decking on the side. It looks like it's second story deck but it's not. It's ground level and wraps around the side to stairs to the backyard.

This is the great room. It's on the south side of the house and all three outside walls are windows for sunshine! YAY!!!! The kitchen is opened up to this room too. It's 18 x 24.

This picture came out really little! It's a view of the kitchen from the Great room looking through it. There's another counter and cabinets on the left.

This is a picture of the living room. The half wall there is NOT to a stairwell. It's just a wall that makes a small hallway to the front door. One side of the hallway has a closet for coats and the floor is tile. It's a good place to take off your shoes and leave them before going into the rest of the house.

This is the view from the other side of the living room. The kitchen wall is ont he right. The stairs go up to three bedrooms and a bathroom. Just to the left of the stairs are a few stairs that go down to the family room.

If you go down the stairs (as explained in previous pic) you come to this beeautiful brick fireplace. To the right of this is another bedroom and a bathroom.

There's a park across the street from us. It's the Rice Creek water area with walking trails, parks, etc. and a path all the way to the Mississippi River (about 2 miles I think) where there is a riverfront park. It's in New Brighton on the Northwest corner of the city near Fridley and Mounds View. So we are right next to THREE communities and we get Mounds View schools (an award winning school district - one of the best in the state). We are so excited!!!!!!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!
