Scanning for Viruses

So, here we sit. Michael and I staring at the Norton window on his computer. It has scanned about 160,000 files and has spent 6 hours doing so. ARGHHHHHHHHH! He got some nasty virus on his computer. Norton is trying to figure out what to do with it. If you get an email from Michael with an attachment on it THROW IT AWAY IMMEDIATELY. Do not open the attatchment.

Who are these sickos who create computer viruses anyway??? It just goes to show you the sinful nature of mankind. If biological viruses didn't already exist, someone would try to create them just like people create ones to destroy computers just for fun. That's what sin does, destroys.

Now it's 160,165 files....

We have over 3,278 infected files. We need computer antibiotics, STAT! Someone call the ambulance and haul this thing to the computer ER.

I'm not sure which is sicker... the computer or the fact that we are sitting here at 11 pm staring at the number of files scanned....

Or the fact that my husband is spellchecking this post....

"It's 'here' not 'her' "

"Thank you, dear."

160,444.....

Mazen is sleeping upstairs in our bed and I think she is waiting for a late night snack....

160,474....

Michael is going to sign us up for the next Amazing race. We think we will win. I'll eat the chocolates and even the nasty caviar, but he'll have to haul the goats and side of beef.

160, 695...

This thing is slow. Mine scanned the WHOLE computer in 15 minutes.

You know, the fact that you are actually reading this says something about how exciting your day is. Probably more exciting than ours right now.

Michael is worried that the virus is just reinfecting the computer every few seconds. I think the memory is wasted and it's going really slowly.... we cant tell. Will try to let it scan all and then download the patch to fix it once the files are quarantined.

Okay... I am going to sign off and help Michael stare at his computer now.

161, 014....
