Good night all!

Ok.. I gotta hit the hay.... been up doing tests etc. Whew! What a day! Exams, financial reports, lab installation, memos, email, answering questions, finding files, Andi's still in the hospital - finally feeling a bit better - whew!, stopped by the courthouse to let the Judge know my class is visiting tomorrow, (Found a jury trial to go to!!!!), since court and library in same building I got a library card! Finally able to now that my identity is a little more organized. Checked out Bear and Big Blue House video and Elmo video for Mazen and a few novels for myself. Of course every single one I looked for was checked out and had a LONG list of holds. Added my name to it. Hennepin county has the finest public library system I have EVER seen. It's amazing! I can't wait to take Michael and Mazen. I've been talking about going there for a long time as a family, but we never seem to make it. We have one tradition and that is Saturday morning breakfast. I have always dreamed of having a Saturday library day for the family too. So I think we are going to start going to the library once or twice a month on Saturdays after our family breakfast. I want Mazen to LOVE libraries and books and stories and art and history like I do! I want her to grow up with her life a tapestry woven around God, close meaningful friendships, and a love of culture. I can't think of a better environment to enrich and stimulate thought and learning more than a library.

They have MANY computers at the library too. And in the Twin Cities you can check out at ANY library and return to ANY library. Way cool.

The other tradition we are trying to start is a weekly date night for mom and dad. Gotta fit that into our schedule. It's important. Sat night Raelyn came over and she watched Mazen for us while we went to Barnes and Noble for about 1 and 1/2 hours. It was really fun! Of course I love books! We had coffee, shared a brownie, and browsed books and stuff. It was fun.

Ok.... I'm really going to bed now!
